My name is Brek and I am a photographer that just-so-happened to fall in love with the landscapes that she was shooting. I have recently found myself living as a geographer at Humboldt State University and mapping has sparked a particular interest in my heart. A man I once knew thought it a grand idea to go hiking and map the world. I very much want to follow in his foot steps and this project is the beginnings of that journey.



I recently took an introductory Cartography class and the maps that you currently see up are the fruits of that labor. I will be taking GIS and advanced Cartography classes in the coming semesters and as I continue to produce maps I will also update this website.



In this site I hope to be putting up both photos and maps to show where and what I am captivated by; through my lens and my computer screen I hope to show others that beauty and information can come together in synchronized harmony.
